Consulting for Tribal Governments, Public Safety Agencies, and Housing Authorities

What NPKCG Does

NPKCG works with tribal leadership on the problems that do not fit in a county playbook: a police department that needs an honest assessment, an emergency plan that has never been tested, a department that has outgrown its structure, a council that needs a strategic plan the staff will actually use. The work is done on site, by people who have run tribal departments, and it ends with a written product the Tribe owns.

Who does the work: engagements are led by Dr. William R. Latchford, DCJ, retired Executive Director of Public Safety and Chief of Police for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, with senior assessors drawn from retired chiefs, fire service executives, and tribal program directors. Every consultant has run the kind of department they are assessing. Consultant profiles are on the About page.
