Delivered through the NPKCG Professional Development Institute, this program prepares public safety professionals, emergency managers, and community partners to respond effectively to incidents, coordinate across systems, and support safe and resilient Tribal communities.

Integrated Public Safety, Emergency Management, and Community Protection

The Public Safety & Emergency Management Certificate is designed for professionals working across public safety, emergency management, and community protection roles.

This program takes a systems-based approach, integrating law enforcement, fire, EMS, emergency management, school safety, and community coordination. It focuses on preparedness, response, communication, and risk reduction while emphasizing real-world application and collaboration.

Participants will develop the skills needed to operate effectively in complex environments, respond to emergencies, and support safe and coordinated public safety systems.
